Counting cards – Blackjack?
What are the most common signs that a casino will look for that indicates that a player is counting cards?
How they play there hands, card counters do things like…….
***Sometimes stand on 16vs10 and sometimes hit 16vs10, this is the most common thing to look for
stand on 15s and 16s when they would normally hit
split tens (this is a card counter trademark)
hit soft 18s (only players who know proper strategy do this)
double soft 19s and soft 20′s
double low hands like 8 and sometimes 7
Card counters dont usually think about their actions, they get there cards and they signal for the hit or stand, regular players arnt that prepared and often examine their hands and have to think, though a good card counter will make an effort to “think” about his hand as well.
Card counters bet lots of money, they want to make it worth their while so they usually bet upwards of 100 dollars per hand, and play multiple hands when they can.
Card counters fluctuate their bets with there larger bets being at the end of a shoe and their smaller bets being at the beginning, or the only place bets at the end of the shoe.
Card counters carry lots of cash, and may buy in for thousands of dollars if they happen to be losing that day, most people just dont bring that kinda cash to the casino.
Card counters often wear hats to hide their eyes from being seen (its sad, but true, and yes i wear one frequently)
