do you need an I Ching Tarot deck to use the I ching?
I have two different books about the I Ching(one “I Ching of the Goddess”, one just on the “I Ching”). I haven’t read any mention of any cards in the second book but then I haven’t read much into either of them. I saw a couple of I ching Tarot decks for sale at the book store I work at and was wondering If it’s necessary to have an I Ching Tarot deck in order to use the I Ching or is having the book enough?
no … two very different things
the I ching is thousands of years old and is a means of divination in its own rights
the I ching tarot are just a set of cards made centered around the I ching itself
